Software maintenance is a comprehensive support programme available to all customers on a subscription basis. Software maintenance provides quick but thorough assistance with specific issues, involving you in the process. This includes technical support to assist with installation, licensing and configuration, as well as helping to resolve technical issues you encounter. With software maintenance you are also entitled to two no-charge licence system ID changes per year per licence seat.
Software maintenance covers the current software version and one previous version. Versions more than one version back are not covered. However, on taking out a software maintenance agreement, you are entitled to upgrade to the latest version. Automatic upgrades are part of the software maintenance program, ensuring you have the most up-to-date version of your software. Software updates are released in the form of fixes, services packs and full releases.
If your software maintenance coverage lapses for more than 90 days, a reinstatement will be required to provide you with the latest version of the software and software upgrades during the service period.
